California Scents announces contingency awards for Skip Barber National

Lakeville, Conn. (July 20) Skip Barber Racing School today announced that California Scents, maker of eco friendly air fresheners for home and auto is sponsoring a contingency awards package for drivers participating in the BFGoodrich/Skip Barber National Presented by Mazda.

Drivers will compete for the $500 California Scents Pole Award; $250 in cash and $250 in “Skippy dollars”, or credit for future seat time in Skip Barber Racing School programs. The driver who passes the most cars during each race will earn $500 for the California Scents Most Progressive Driver award; $250 in cash and $250 in “Skippy dollars”. This past weekend at New Jersey Motorsports Park, Spencer Pigot took the pole for both races, earning $1000 from California Scents while Felix Serralles and Ashley Freiberg not only scored their first victories in the Skip Barber National, they each passed more cars in their respective victories and will receive $500 each from California Scents.

“I can tell you from first-hand experience that Skip Barber Racing School trains some of the best drivers in the world”, said California Scents founder Gus Doppes. “California Scents is proud to come on board to support these young drivers in the early part of their racing careers.”
