Expanding Creative Services at California Scents

Irvine, CA, December 5, 2013 – California Scents, a leading supplier of air freshening products world-wide, announced today the opening of its new in-house creative suite. Over the years, the California Scents brand has become known for its fun and colorful product packaging, POPs, and advertising materials. This new larger space will help continue that tradition and meet the growing need to produce more of the company’s graphic design work in-house. Both U.S. and international marketing opportunities have also created an expanded role for the design team at California Scents and this new space will help meet those increasing requirements with additional equipment and talent.

Linda Doppes, President of California Scents, commented, "We have always taken great pride in our colorful product packaging. It is an integral part of our trademark look." She added, "With several new product introductions on the horizon and solid market growth both here and overseas, further development of our in-house creative capabilities were needed at this time."

The new Creative Services suite has been in the design stage for several months and is conveniently located adjacent to the corporate headquarters located at 18850 Von Karman Avenue, Irvine, California. Functioning much like a stand-alone design agency, the newly formed Creative Services Department will be responsible for many facets of the advertising and marketing efforts at California Scents, including: Product Packaging, Point-of-Purchase Displays, Advertising, Sales Materials, Trade Show Exhibits, Website Design, Social Media, and Special Events Marketing.

Irvine, CA, September 30, 2013 – California Scents is proud to announce that a team of its employees and family members from the corporate office in Irvine, CA stepped up to the challenge for the fourth year in a row and participated in the 5K run/walk in the 22nd Annual Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure on September 22, 2013 at Fashion Island, Newport Beach, CA. This race, as well as other events held that day, help to raise funds and awareness for breast cancer research, education, and treatment for local women affected by this disease. California Scents Sponsors the A.C. Green Youth Foundation Summer Leadership Camp

Irvine, CA, July 25, 2013 – California Scents is pleased to once again be a sponsor of the A.C. Green Youth Foundation 2013 Summer Leadership Camp. The Summer Leadership Camps and the A.C. Green Youth Foundation add value to the lives of many children in need and California Scents is proud to be a part of helping the foundation support this cause.

Each year the summer camp program sponsors approximately 700 boys and girls, ages 9-15, to attend an all expenses paid summer camp that features educational opportunities, career exploration, character building and basketball. Camps are held in Los Angeles, Pasadena, Phoenix, and Portland and NBA Iron Man, A.C. Green, personally supervises each camp.

The goal of the summer camp program is to identify and encourage leaders among children who might otherwise be forgotten, those who lack positive role models, are physically and/or emotionally abused, economically disadvantaged, or victims of homelessness.

While attending Summer Leadership Camp, the campers are challenged on and off the basketball court. While part of each day is spent learning basketball skills, practicing drills and improving techniques, campers also spend time learning about life. Guest speakers encourage them to set goals and work hard, explaining that “The decisions we make today will directly impact our tomorrow”. Through interaction with A.C. Green and other positive role models, campers learn that realizing their purpose in life can make the difference in achieving their true potential.
