California Scents Sponsors the A.C.
Green Youth Foundation Summer Leadership Camp
Irvine,
CA, June 18, 2014 – California
Scents is delighted to once again be a sponsor of the A.C. Green Youth Foundation
2014 Summer Leadership Camp. Each year this foundation provides the
opportunity for children, ages 9-15, to attend an all expenses paid summer camp
that features educational opportunities, career exploration, character building
and basketball skills.
The goal of the summer
camp program is to encourage leaders among children who might otherwise be
forgotten, those who lack positive role models, are physically and/or
emotionally abused, economically disadvantaged, or victims of homelessness. This year’s summer camps are being held in
Los Angeles, Pasadena, and Portland. NBA
Iron Man, A.C. Green, supervises each camp personally.
Guest speakers encourage the campers to set goals and work hard, emphasizing that “The decisions we make today will directly impact our tomorrow”. The interactions with A.C. Green and other positive role models, equip these campers with the knowledge that realizing their purpose in life and developing a healthy moral and ethical character can make the difference in achieving their true potential.
The Summer Leadership Camps and the A.C. Green Youth Foundation are dedicated to add value to the lives of many children in need. California Scents is proud to be part of helping the foundation support this cause.
